a little while back, a buddy of mine asked me if I'd illustrate a poem/song he'd written for his youngest daughter. I admit I was a little hesitant, because drawing material that would appeal to children wasn't really my thing, and I didn't want it to cause problems if he didn't like the stuff I came up with!

but after reading the really cute, heartfelt poem, I agreed right away, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable project for all of us!
